New Life Mission was founded in 1978 by missionaries Bengt Sundh and Eila Sundh from Sweden. Their calling was to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with people in Africa.
As they carried out their mission, they began visiting prisons and reaching out to people in need. Through this work, many social support programs were started. These include Samaritan Children’s Home, feeding programmes, vocational training schools, and other community support initiatives.
Over the years, the work has grown into a strong Foundation in Kenya. Today, New Life Mission has three main stations with its headquarters in Ongata Rongai, Kajiado county.
Today, the work is being spearheaded by Rev. Karl Hargstrom and Anniki Hargstrom, who have a deep love and passion for the people of Kenya and continue to lead the mission with a heart to serve communities and transform lives.
The Foundation’s revenue comes from individual donors, organizations, thrift (second-hand) stores and Income Generating Projects in Kenya.
Our organization has successfully completed numerous projects that demonstrate our commitment to excellence and creativity. We invite you to explore our portfolio and discover the quality work we deliver.
